And what's more, everything that they could carry out was theirs to keep! Well, IT'S BACK! The television show that says, "Go ahead, do what you've always wanted to do! Get it all! Everything in this Supermarket is yours, and it's all free!" So, let's give a big welcome to the return of the all new SUPERMARKET SWEEP! And now, let's meet the host of our show, DAVID RUPRECHT!
OPENING SPIEL #1: Is this one of your fantasies? You see a big beautiful supermarket and they say to you, "Go ahead, do what you've always wanted to do! Run wild! Grab everything you can get your hands on! Everything in this Supermarket is yours, and it's all free!" From Hollywood, where dreams DO come true, it's the return of the one and only, Supermarket Sweep!
OPENING SPIEL #2: How would you like to find $5,000 in a supermarket? Imagine, picking a product off your supermarket shelf and attached to it is all that cash, and it's yours to keep! All you have to do is run around the market, grab everything as fast as you can! If you can grab more than anyone else, you'll get that chance to go for the $5,000! You say your supermarket won't let you do it? Well, hang on, because we let people do it all the time on the one and only game show that makes it possible, Supermarket Sweep!
OPENING SPIEL #3: Welcome to the first supermarket in the world that gives you money, $5,000. And we give it away time and time again. Since $5,000 is serious money, you have to do some serious shopping to earn that $5,000. The whole idea is to shop faster and smarter than the next person. Go ahead, grab everything you can get your hands on, then fill up your cart as high as you can. Sure, it may look like hard work, but you know what, it's a lot of fun, too. When you win the $5,000, sometimes you'd get carried away, and sometimes you'll even be moved to tears. So get ready, because you never know what's going to happen on Supermarket Sweep!
OPENING SPIEL #4: Do you know how much money has been won on Supermarket Sweep? There goes $5,000! There goes another $5,000! Look, these women won over $10,000! Team after team, it's been win, win, win! How much has been won? Over $500,000 on Supermarket Sweep!

Audience: (cheers wildly) David: Okay, let's find out who's going to get that chance! Some of you are holding some of these well known products. (insert products). Now we're looking for three teams of shoppers, okay? Who's got, (bell rings), (insert 3 products)? Come on, you're on! Okay, we've got our players! Now we're gonna find out just how smart these shoppers are! But first, let's meet them!

Now, when you see (insert specific product), we decided "Come on, let's put some more money into the game and let's get bigger products, and we called it Super (insert specific product)." We have lots more Super-Sized products throughout the market, and not only that, during the Big Sweep, our players are gonna get a chance to make a Super Sandwich, and that's gonna be worth $200. This is how it works: At the end of our third week, we'll take the 12 teams who have the highest Sweep total, invite them back to compete in the fourth and final week. Now, at the end of that week, the team with the highest Sweep total on the final day takes home all of the accumulated winnings, plus the two new Geo Trackers worth over $25,000!" "Now as you know, you're gonna need all of your shopping skills today. Because a little bit later on, you're gonna make a mad dash through the aisles of this supermarket for a chance to win $5,000 in cash. And since every second counts, I'm gonna give a chance to earn extra time because the more seconds you can earn the more goodies you grab when you are out in the market. So who's gonna play first (for each team)? (Insert three names). So partners, we'll see you later. Now (as you know) each team gets/start off with a free 1:30 worth of sweep time. I'm gonna give a chance right now to earn 10 (extra) seconds. So let's see how good a shoppers, you three are." - David Ruprecht (starting the game in the first season)

"It's time for the 30-Second Shootout. Let me explain how this works: Inside this card is a/an 5/6 letter name of a product. One of you has to get your partner to say that product, but you can only do it one letter at a time. For example: COAST. You might say "The state where you lived in...", which is in California, and the first letter is C. Once you get the first letter, you move on to the next one, hopefully your partner guesses the name of a product. You can use your friends' name, parents, teachers, kids, product names, anything you want. Who's gonna give the clues? (Insert member) You're gonna give the clues. If you can do it in 30/40 seconds, we'll add 30 seconds onto your Sweep Time. You have 30/40 seconds.
