The $300 Movie is a game played using the television monitors scattered throughout the market. Found in the "Big Sweep", David will say "Activate the TV Monitors!", enabling the game to begin.

Value[]

$300

Origins[]

The $300 Movie, the Alphabet Game, the Breakfast Break, the Jolly Time Is Money!, the Red Tag Special and the Splitting the Name bonuses all made their debut in 2001.

Premise[]

There were two television monitors located in the market, each possessing a clue leading to a movie located in the store's movie display. There was only one copy of each film available. The monitor locations always stayed constant, and contestants could receive their clues by pushing the monitors' buttons, which also activate red lights surrounding the buttons, signifying the monitors were properly working. Midway through the Sweep, David would say "Activate the TV monitors!" over the loudspeaker, which informed the contestants that the game was ready to play.
